Making homemade gift tags has always been something that I love to do. I tend to keep the special ones (signed by grandparents) year after year and sometimes even reuse them! This month, I've been having fun making several with extra bits and pieces leftover from various projects I've been working on... whew!
Don't you just want to jump up and cheer with him?!? I have so loved playing with these snowmen from Spirited Snowmen these past couple of months. This set will definitely be a keeper for me as I adore snowmen!
I found a 2" wide scrap of Whisper White cardstock and trimmed it down to 3-3/8" after placing it on my Buffalo Check (yay, it's a carryover!!!) background stamp that was inked up with my Balmy Blue ink pad. This length was customized to make sure that "Cheery" (my nickname for this snowman) would fit nicely along with his rah-rah sentiment on this lovely plaid background. The snowflakes were stamped in Whisper White Craft Ink all over the background and set aside to dry.
I hope this cheerful tag has inspired to have some fun while making gift tags that you may need soon or in the future. Happy stamping and have a blessed day!

Cheery was stamped in Tuxedo Black Momento ink onto another scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock. His carrot nose was colored in with my Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends Marker. His stick arms, legs and boot heels were colored with my Light Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends Marker. His hat and scarf color coordinated with the Light and Dark Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends Markers with the buttons and boots being accented with the darker shade of the Blends. After being fussy cut with my Paper Snips, Cheery decided to rest a bit as I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink centered just above his hat. Cheery was adhered to the tag with Stampin' Dimensionals to continuing cheering whenever he wants. The Twinkle Builder Punch had the star to use as an opening for the Crumb Cake twine that was threaded through and loop knotted for a packaging tie.
