Thanks for joining us on another Random Act of Kindness Blog Hop! You are visiting Angie McKenzie in the USA. I am showcasing the cards I have given &/or received as part of the Random Act of Kindness Card Group on Facebook (aka Group).
In any given month, we each randomly select a few members from the Group to send a RAK card to, to brighten their day. There is nothing like sharing our love of creating handmade cards to spread sunshine around the world! Please feel free to join the Group if you would like to participate in the RAK cards movement (blogging is not mandatory). #imbringingRAKcardsback #MakeACardSendACard
The last week of August and the first week of September consisted of me packing up, moving and unpacking my parents as they left their home of 40+ years to live in a retirement community within three minutes of us.
Exhausted after the move, two little envelopes made my heart do a #happydanceathemailbox when my body was too tired to move itself!
Kate's fancy fold card with the gorgeous DSP was gorgeous and will definitely be cas(e)d! It was wonderful to receive such warm wishes and hugs from New Zealand!
Diana was a new member in August and did an amazing coloring job with one of the new Host stamp sets. Diana is definitely enjoying her time being in this awesome group!
After four days of unpacking boxes and helping my parents get organized in their new independent living apartment (tough after owning a home for 41 years!), this cheerful card landed in my mailbox! Lynn had a lot of fun with ink and string to create this card. I cannot wait to try this technique myself!
And guess what?!? Being a part of this wonderful RAK card group has also created some very special friendships!
Priscilla sent some RAK love all the way from Australia to NW Ohio! And she made several people smile! This was the FIRST RAK card that my mom has ever received so she was rather tickled to show me the card... she even understands the feeling that we all get when we see a special envelope amongst our mail!
Can you believe all these beauties we received from around the world?!?
We definitely felt the kindness being spread around the world and loved a lot!
Now here are the cards that I had fun sending out during August and September! I hope they bring a smile to your face and/or inspire you in some way with your creativity!
This wonderful group not only spreads kindness, but it builds friendships! Friendships across the miles... across the waters... across the street... anywhere there is a mailbox. :)
