I hope this finds you all doing well! Monday was a fun stamping day for me since it was a way bit too hot here in NW Ohio to enjoy being outside for too long. It's not often that we teeter into the 100s... granted it was a "feels like" temperature, but hey, when you need a reason to stay inside to make cards you go with it! :)
I have a challenge group on Facebook (Nature's INKspirations Challenges Group) for Stampin' Up!® enthusiasts who want a challenge to help them expand their creativity and mojo. And, yes, as the name reflects inspirations are drawn from nature.
Here is the first photo inspiration for the group that is for the third challenge (which by the way stays open indefinitely for the benefit of all members - current and future).
And here is the card that I created based on this photo inspiration.
I so enjoyed using these vibrant new colors that I had to CAS(e) a card that I made last year using the Lovely Inside & Out stamp set (recently retired). Prior to stamping I created a Watercolor Swoosh background using the Swooshing Technique. If you would like to know how I created the background, please click here for a picture tutorial from yesterday's blog hop.
I hope these cards have inspired you to get inky and to see what you can create based on what is around you everyday. If you would like to receive inspiration and join us in the group, please click here to see what it's all about! We would love to have you join us.
Have a blessed day!
I would love to be your Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator and Creative Coach! Please click here to purchase any of the following supplies so you can recreate the cards featured in today's blog post.
