I had just a bit more than a handful of cards to deliver to the post office... #ilovemyRAKfriends #imbringingRAKcardsback |
Thanks for joining us on another Random Act of Kindness Blog Hop! You are visiting Angie McKenzie in the USA. I am showcasing the cards I have given &/or received as part of the Random Act of Kindness Card Group on Facebook (aka Group).
In any given month, we each randomly select a few members from the Group to send a RAK card to, to brighten their day. There is nothing like sharing our love of creating handmade cards to spread sunshine around the world! Please feel free to join the Group if you would like to participate in the RAK cards movement (blogging is not mandatory). #imbringingRAKcardsback #MakeACardSendACard
October was another exciting month for me, so sit back, put your feet up and relax for a while... you might want to warm up your coffee or tea, first though, as I share some beauties with you!
Such a wonderful way to showcase some beautiful DSP and Emily's sweet note made me smile! |
I was blessed to have received one of the first RAK cards Emma sent - isn't it gorgeous?! |
Now here are the cards that I had fun sending out at the end of October and the first part of November! I hope they bring a smile to your face and/or inspire you in some way with your creativity!
I absolutely love the September 2017 Paper Pumpkin Layered Leaves kit and needed to make a belated birthday card to send to a special RAK friend who makes the most incredible alternative cards with her kits. So I came up with a WWSD (What would Suzanne do?) card just for her. I sure hope she liked it as much as I enjoyed making it for her!
The Group has several events going on this month for members to participate in and I am participating in four of the five! On Friday, I mailed cards out for the RAK November 2017 Event and the Occasions and Birthdays November Event. By the last day of the month, I'll be sending out cards for our two Christmas events!!! There is also a Hanukkah event for those of the Jewish faith!
So are you ready for a sneak peek of what's inside these envelopes?! Well, as you can probably guess, the leaf theme continued into November especially with Thanksgiving coming up this week here in the States.
Do you remember the cards I sent last month (click here to see)?! Well, they were well received!
Several recipients have found their mirror images while others are still busy looking. Glad I kept a list of the matches so I make sure to let the recipients know who their match is when I can tell they need a little bit of help. ;)
This wonderful group not only spreads kindness, but it builds friendships! Friendships across the miles... across the waters... across the street... anywhere there is a mailbox. :)
I hope you have been inspired by all these projects on my blog today. You are currently visiting Angie McKenzie. Please see the list below and hop around all of the people on the list to see all our projects. You sure don't want to miss any!
Thanks for hopping by and I'm looking forward to seeing ya'll again soon!!
