There is a lovely lady in Australia with a big heart and an infectious grin... you can see her happiness radiating through her eyes. I love watching her videos just to hear her accent and see her smile! In 2016, Kylie Bertucci posted an invitation to readers of her blog to participate in making cards to randomly send to others - it is her Random Acts of Kindness list. Card creator that I am, signed up and was tickled pink to participate. It is so exciting to receive happy mail from others that love making cards as much as I do! I was beaming from ear to ear when I received a beautiful card made by Kylie's wonderful hubby, Bruno!!! I actually still need to send him a thank you card. ;)
Kylie also extended the invitation to those on her Facebook page - it's a closed group, so you need to request to be added if you'd like to participate and get added to the RAK International list. Well, I signed up on that list, too!
January 31st was the most recent event for the FB group to send RAK cards. So on that wonderful event day, I nearly panicked when I thought I had lost all the pictures on my iPhone from the past week (so many card pictures taken on Sunday and Monday). All is well, thank goodness! Now, I upload my pictures daily instead of whenever while I'm making my cards! :)
Over the next couple of days, I will be posting pictures of some of my RAK cards that I've been busy making and mailing. Kylie's idea of sending Random Act of Kindness cards is so awesome and I get warm fuzzies just thinking about it!
The layout for this card was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #205. When this RAK card arrives overseas, I hope it brings a smile to the recipient's face!
Cheers!
